French housing problem beaten by combined generations

Young French people having difficulty finding affordable housing are being given the chance to help older members of society and put a roof over their own heads.

"Intergenerational cohabitation" relies on contracts to provide young adults with cheap or free accommodation in return for assistance and company for elderly homeowners.
