France goes on strike over retirement laws

The French unions are staging a national day of strikes and demonstrations in opposition to the government's pension reforms.

The bill, will raise the minimum retirement age from 60 to 62 and the age at which people can retire on full pensions from 65 to 67.

It is the third such protest in a month.

Christian Fraser reports from Paris.
