Czech health system threatened by mass walkout

The Czech government has offered a last-minute pay deal to doctors in a bid to stave off a mass walkout that could cripple the health system.

Nearly 4,000 doctors have handed in their resignations in a co-ordinated protest over low salaries and increased overtime.

Unions are due to vote today on whether to accept the government's offer.

Rob Cameron reports from the city of Jihlava.
