Thousands protest in Belgrade over Mladic arrest

Scuffles have broken out at a demonstration in the Serbian capital Belgrade, organised by supporters of the captured war crimes suspect Ratko Mladic.

Police had stepped-up security ahead of the protest by ultra-nationalist Serbs, who regard the former military commander as a war hero.

The BBC's Duncan Kennedy said a few thousand people had turned out to demonstrate over Mladic's arrest.
