Clashes in Belgrade during Mladic protests

There have been clashes in the Serbian capital of Belgrade between riot police and supporters of the former Bosnian Serb commander Ratko Mladic.

There were running street battles outside parliament, as several thousand protesters demanded his release.

The government wants to extradite Gen Mladic to the war crimes tribunal in The Hague.
