Ratko Mladic departs Belgrade for The Hague

Ratko Mladic has been flown from Belgrade to face a UN tribunal in The Hague, after a Serbian court rejected an appeal against his transfer.

The Serbian Justice Minister Snezana Malovic announced his departure, saying she signed the extradition order.

Ratko Mladic faces genocide charges over the Bosnian conflict in the 1990s.
