Breivik takes stand in Norway massacre trial

The man accused of killing 77 people in Norway last summer has addressed his trial in Oslo. Anders Behring Breivik said he acted out of "goodness, not evil" to prevent a wider civil war and said he would have done it again.

Reading a prepared statement, Breivik attacked the Norwegian and European governments for embracing multi-culturalism.

Proceedings were delayed earlier as one of the lay judges was replaced. It emerged he had said Breivik should face the death penalty.

Richard Lister reports.
