South African rangers take up arms to protect rhinos from poachers

Rhino poaching has become such a problem in South Africa that authorities fear the animals could be wiped out in a number of years.

Now authorities are taking extreme measures to protect the animals by deploying hundreds of troops along the national parks' borders to help fight gangs that smuggle rhino horns.
