Spanish banks forced to raise an extra 30bn euros

There is a new warning that the Eurozone could remain in recession for the rest of this year.

Banks in Spain have been told by their government that they will have to keep more money on their balance sheets in an effort to allay fears that some may collapse.

The BBC's Europe Editor Gavin Hewitt reports.
