Greek parties in last-ditch talks

Time is fast running out for politicians in Greece to form a coalition government or face new elections.

The president has spent the morning holding crisis talks with the leaders of the three main political parties, who have each failed to put together a coalition.

Those meetings have ended in the last hour and the president is now expected to hold talks with the heads of smaller parties that won enough votes to gain parliamentary seats.

Richard Galpin reports.
