Rajoy hails Spanish rescue as 'a victory for euro'

Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy has described a decision by eurozone finance ministers to bail out his country's ailing banks as a "victory" for the European common currency.

He told a news conference in Madrid that the bailout was part of a process of restoring the credibility of Spain's economy.
