Russia prepares to send a Soyuz rocket to space station

A Russian Soyuz rocket is expected to launch from Kazakhstan this weekend as it begins its journey to the International Space Station.

Russia is the only country now able to provide manned flights to the station.

It will carry a multi-national crew from Japan, the United States and Russia.
