Religious tourism in Scandinavia

Thousands of pilgrims from around the world are taking part in a landmark festival to remember the region's most famous Saint and Viking King, St Olav.

It is an example of a growth in religious tourism across Scandinavia and northern Europe and comes as the European Union launches a new drive to encourage people to visit Europe's pilgrim sites, shrines and 'cultural routes'.
