Costa Concordia tour rep: Captain 'acted well'

The trial of the captain of the Costa Concordia - the cruise ship that struck rocks off the coast of Italy with the loss of 32 lives in 2012 - is due to begin on Tuesday.

Francesco Schettino faces charges of manslaughter and abandoning ship.

It was reported at the time that the captain had been distracted by the attention of a young woman - Domnica Cemortan - who had been employed as a tour rep by the company.

She told the BBC's Matthew Price what she saw as the ship got into difficulty.
