Ukraine crisis: UK's Hague warns Russia of 'consequences'

The UK foreign secretary has warned Russia of possible "consequences" for its actions in sending troops into parts of Ukraine.

Speaking from Kiev, where he laid flowers at a shrine for those who died in the conflict, William Hague called for a strong response - but ruled out military support.

Moscow has insisted it is acting to protect Russian-speakers in Crimea.
