In 45 seconds: Turkey's worst mine disaster

Turkey is observing three days of mourning after the country's worst ever mine disaster, which has claimed at least 282 lives.

Trade unions in the country are holding a one-day strike in protest against the recent privatisation of the mining sector, which they say has made working conditions more dangerous.
