Russia's gay community scared following propaganda law

Gay rights groups in Russia say that there has been a marked increase in homophobic harassment and attacks, since a new law made it a crime to spread "gay propaganda".

The law's supporters insist they are protecting what they call traditional Russian values.

However, activists say that many gay people are now afraid even to hold hands in public.

Sarah Rainsford reports from St Petersburg.
