A Piece Of Home: 'I always wanted to be a musician'

If you knew you were leaving home for the last time, what would you take with you?

As part of a series, BBC News spoke to people around the world who have been forced to leave their homes about the items they chose to take with them.

Peter Kaldor was 16 when the Soviets invaded Hungary in 1956.

His mother reluctantly agreed that for his safety Peter should flee. As a promising musician there was one special object that he took with him.
