Migrant crisis: Counting arrivals one by one

Thousands of migrants rescued from boats trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea at the weekend have been arriving at ports in southern Italy.

It is estimated more than 7,000 people have been saved by Italian and French ships since Friday.

The Royal Navy are due to join the rescue operation.

James Reynolds reports from the Sicilian port of Augusta.
