France train shooting: I'd rather die being active, says Briton
One of four men who tackled a gunman on a train in France has told of the scenes which unfolded on the Amsterdam to Paris high-speed train.
Briton Chris Norman and three US passengers - Spencer Stone, Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler - have been widely praised for their actions when they over-powered the "heavily-armed" attacker.
Unlike two of the Americans, Mr Norman had no military training which could have helped him tackle the gunman, but still felt compelled to act.
"I'd rather die being active, trying to get him down, than simply sit in the corner and be shot," he said.
