Police: Austria lorry dead 'probably Syrian'

The bodies of 71 people, thought to be migrants, have been recovered from an abandoned lorry found on a motorway on Thursday, police in Austria have confirmed.

Hans Peter Doskozil, chief of the Burgenland police, said the victims appeared to be migrants from Syria and that three people had been detained in connection with the tragedy.
