Catalonia vote: Friends differ over independence debate

People in the Spanish region of Catalonia are divided ahead of a vote on Sunday that separatists say could pave the way for the creation of an independent state.

Spain's government has blocked calls for a Scottish-style referendum.

So Catalan pro-independence parties have teamed up and claim that a win would be a 'yes' vote for a separate Catalan state.

BBC News met two colleagues and friends in Barcelona who have differing opinion on the independence debate.
