Paris attacks: UK links investigated by counter-terror police

Counter-terror police are investigating possible British links to the extremists behind November's attacks in Paris.

British and French security services are examining reports that the Paris ringleader, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, had connections with people in Birmingham, and that another of the gunmen visited Birmingham and London earlier this year.

Since the 13 November attacks, Belgian prosecutors have outlined a plot that stretches across Europe and includes more than the Paris gunmen named so far.

Christian Fraser reports.
