François Gabart gets a hero's welcome after breaking sailing record

French sailor François Gabart set a new world record for the fastest solo round-the-world navigation - shaving a huge amount of time off the previous record.

François Gabart finished his non-stop journey more than six days quicker, in 42 days and 16 hours, having left at the start of November.
