Shells found in village near ammunition depot blast

Shells and shrapnel have been found in a village near a military base in Siberia where a chain of large of explosions took place on Monday.

Firefighters using armoured vehicles and robots spent Monday night tackling the flames and residents were warned not to return to their homes.

About 16,000 people were evacuated and at least 12 people are reported injured.

Seventy bomb disposal experts were sent to secure the site while some residents stayed to try to put out the fires and save their homes.
