Miners trapped underground in Chile for over 24 hours

Rescue workers in Chile are trying to reach 34 miners who are trapped underground at a copper mine in the north of the country.

The miners were working at a depth of around 450 metres when the rock above them collapsed. Nothing has been heard of them since.

Gideon Long reports from the Chilean capital Santiago.
