Castro warning on effects of war

The former Cuban leader, Fidel Castro, has given his first speech to the country's national assembly since he stepped down as president of the country to undergo stomach surgery four years ago.

Mr Castro spoke for just over ten minutes, warning that the world risked nuclear war if the US attacked Iran.

He outlined what he called the ''immensely higher price'' of such an outcome.
