Hope for Chile miners as unpaid colleagues protest

The 33 Chilean miners trapped underground could soon be freed as rescue workers, who are drilling to reach them, say they are less than 200 metres away.

Some believe they could be freed as early as this weekend.

But their colleagues have taken to the streets in protest because they haven't been paid since the accident, which happened two months ago.

Stephanie Holmes reports.
