Golborne believes Chile mine casing 'could take a week'

Chile's Mining Minister has said a metal casing may have to be installed down the rescue shaft once it has reached the trapped miners.

Laurence Golborne believes that part of the operation could take several days to complete.

A specially-designed rescue capsule will then be used to bring the men to the surface.

The engineers expect a drill to reach the trapped miners in the next few days.
