Huge excitement as Chile miner, Carlos Mamani, comes home

Carlos Mamani, the lone Bolivian of the group of 33 rescued miners, has been greeted with ecstatic scenes on his return to his home on the outskirts of Copiapo.

He is one of three miners to be released from hospital late on Thursday.

Doctors have said all the men had responded well to treatment and many more of them would go home for the weekend.
