Cuba's best known rum excluded from US trade

The UN General Assembly is set to vote on a resolution calling on the US to lift its decades-long trade embargo against Cuba.

President Barack Obama has eased some of Washington's sanctions on Cuba, but continues to insist that Havana must first improve its human rights and democracy before ending the embargo.

Even if it were lifted some products, such as rum, could still be excluded.

Michael Voss reports from Havana.
