Anger in Bolivia over fuel prices

Thousands of Bolivians have taken to the streets to oppose the government's plans to increase the cost of fuel.

The price of petrol is to go up by 73% while the price diesel will increase by 83%.

The government says it can no longer afford to subsidise fuel, but unions and citizens' groups have kept up strikes and marches in protest.
