Thousands flee burst dam in Brazil

A dam has burst in northern Rio de Janeiro state in Brazil, forcing thousands more people to flee their homes to escape flooding.

The south-east of the country has been most badly affected by two months of steady heavy rain, with 66 towns and cities in Minas Gerais state declaring a state of emergency.
