Pope Benedict XVI arrives in Cuba's capital Havana

Pope Benedict XVI has arrived in the Cuban capital Havana, on the second day of his visit to the Communist island.

Earlier at a Mass in front of some 200,000 people in the eastern city of Santiago, he called for an "open and renewed society".
