Riot police and demonstrators clash in Bolivia

Clashes have broken out in La Paz as thousands of protesters took to the streets to demonstrate against the government of Bolivian President Evo Morales.

Riot police were seen firing tear gas at a group hurling missiles.

Earlier thousands joined a peaceful march through the capital as part of a rally led by health workers.

They have been protesting for more than a month against a decree increasing working hours without an increase in pay.

Margarita Rodriguez reports.
