Chilean activists bury themselves in protest against pollution

A group of Chilean activists buried themselves in protest against the Endesa power plant in southern Chile, which they accuse of environmental damage.

Some protesters submerged their bodies entirely in ash and were given tubes to breathe through.

The government criticised the extreme protest and the company said in a statement they remain open to dialogue with the community.

Margarita Rodriguez reports.
