Tobago medallist Keshorn Walcott gets lighthouse tribute

Trinidad and Tobago's sports minister has defended awarding an Olympic medallist thousands of dollars, a new home and university scholarship.

Keshorn Walcott, 19, won gold in the javelin at London 2012 with a new national record throw of 84.58m.

Trinidad and Tobago's sports minister Anil Roberts told 5 liveUp All Night what the teenager was given and explained what his win had done to the country.
