Chile's president dismisses student protests

Chilean President Sebastian Pinera has dismissed calls from students for educational reforms, saying that they represent the wishes of less than 0.1% of Chile's entire student body.

His remarks came after thousands of students took to the streets of Santiago demanding changes be made to the education system which would provide free college education.

Maria-Eugenia Dupin reports.
