Chavez: Cuba 'will look after the Venezuelan president'

The President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, has spoken openly for the first time about handing over to a possible successor after acknowledging that his cancer had returned.

In a televised address, Mr Chavez said if he could not continue, his successor should be the current vice president, Nicolás Maduro.

The BBC's Will Grant gauges reaction from residents of Havana, Cuba, where he will return for further medical treatment.
