Mexico Independence Day marked with huge military parade

A huge military parade has taken place in Mexico City in front of the country's President Pena Nieto and thousands of spectators, as part of the country's 203rd Independence Day celebrations.

Some planned festivities in other parts of Mexico had to be cancelled as two powerful storms hit the country simultaneously.
