Briton in Mexico describes 'devastation' after floods

A British teacher living in Mexico has described flood damage to the area as "devastation."

Ed Smith, who was stranded at a beach resort close to Acapulco, had to be rescued by a military aircraft.

Mexican authorities have declared a state of emergency and at least 42 people have died.

Mr Smith told BBC Radio 5 live's Up All Night: "There's quite a lot of devastation on the beach - there's a huge amount of debris being washed up... including animals."
