Infrared images of Turrialba Volcano eruption

Dramatic video of Costa Rica's Turrialba Volcano erupting has been captured with an infrared camera.

A single explosion ejected a cloud of volcanic ash, gas and rocks from the volcano 30 miles east of the capital San Jose.

This video was provided by Dr Mauricio M Mora of Red Sismológica Nacional and has been sped up.
