Syria and Saudi leaders arrive in Beirut

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia are in Beirut for talks with Lebanese leaders.

The BBC's Jim Muir says that the aim of the discussions is to diffuse tensions heightened since Syria was forced to withdraw its troops after the 2005 killing of former PM Rafik Hariri.
