Syria's debate over face veil ban

Like some governments around the world, Syria is taking measures against what it sees as the growing influence of Islamic conservatives.

The secular authorities have excluded hardline religious figures from teaching in mosques and banned the full-face veil in university classrooms.

As Lina Sinjab reports the ban on the face veil has sparked debate within the country about whether the government should have the right to enforce what many believe is a personal decision.
