Egyptian military vows to respect treaties

The Egyptian military has vowed to respect all international agreements, including its peace treaty with Israel.

The army, which is now running the country, has begun dismantling barriers around Tahrir Square in Cairo.

But some activists are warning they will not leave until the armed forces agree to hand over control of the country to civilians.
