Egypt tries to return to normality

Soldiers in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, have begun to clear Tahrir Square of protesters two days after the army assumed power.

The square was the main focal point of demonstrations which eventually toppled the President Hosni Mubarak on Friday.

The military has promised to work towards the restoration of civilian rule.

The BBC's Wyre Davies reports from Cairo.
