Thousands make their voices heard in Iran

Thousands of demonstrators in Iran are making their voices heard inspired by the recent uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.

Protesters were fired upon by police with tear gas after gathering in Tehran's Asadi Square.

One Iranian news agency reported that many had been wounded and a bystander had been shot dead.
