Egypt's police HQ stormed by protesters

Protesters in Egypt's second city Alexandria have stormed the local headquarters of the state security police. They occupied its lower floors and attacked officers.

The security police are widely detested because of their reputation for torture and brutality.

Alastair Leithead reports.
