Tensions continue in Cairo after sectarian clashes

The military authorities in Egypt have said they will use an ''iron fist'' against those who threaten the country's security.

The stark warning comes after sectarian violence between Muslims and Christians in which two churches were attacked, 12 people were killed and more than 180 injured.

The BBC's Jonathan Head said the clashes have heightened the political climate in Cairo.
