Bashar al-Assad is 'losing legitimacy', says William Hague

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is "losing legitimacy" and needs to back up his words with actions when it comes to reforms, says Foreign Secretary William Hague.

In his third address to the nation since protests began in March, Mr Assad said Syria should deal with people's demands for reform but a small faction was exploiting popular grievances.
